Books, and Concerts! HHD!

Aside

I just want to take a moment and apologize for the lack of blogging the past two weeks, last week I was on Spring Break and I went to go visit my grandparents in Florida, and come to find out no one had wifi that I could use! It was a sad sad week lol, but they did have nice weather so that was good! So I want to make it up to you this week, there are a couple things I want to talk about. I want to tell you the top 3 books that I think you should read ASAP! Then in honor of my boyfriend and I going to Demi Lovato’s Neon Lights tour this weekend I want to give you some concert 101 tips!

Top 3 Books that I think you should read if you haven’t already:

1. Divergent

Why? Well it is going to be a movie, and the book is always better than the movie.  Also because it was a great book and I just could put it down! Lastly, because the soundtrack has it’s own Pandora station, and the first thing that came on when I listened to it…… Beyonce! Who doesn’t love some Beyonce?! That’s all I can say without totally giving away what happens!

2. The Fault in Our Stars

Why? Because I guarantee you will fall in love with the characters, and get so caught up in their story that before you know it the book will be over.  One minute you will be laughing and the next you will be crying.  Reading this book was an emotional roller coaster for me, like I imagine the lives of the characters would be.

3. The Book Thief

Why? This book has been out for a while but it just recently became a movie, the book is about history it is a eye-opening book.  You read about things that you may have heard about but hearing them from a interesting perspective.

And since we are talking about books, I thought I would add this link to Buzzfeed, an article that I can very much relate to! http://www.buzzfeed.com/kalialicia/the-14-stages-of-book-addiction-f9n7

Concert Tips

  • Don’t sweat if you don’t get concert tickets when they first go on sale, check out StubHub.  A lot of people buy tickets just to resell them, they might be more expensive but if you really want to go I guess you’ll buy them either way.
  • Make sure you know where you are going and what time the doors open.
  • Get there early, you never know how long the wait will be to get inside.
  • Ladies, don’t take big bags to try and sneak stuff in, they will check your bags.
  • Make a day out of it, if the concert is at 7pm go early and go shopping or have lunch.
  • Buy a keepsake, yes you have the memory of being there but having a shirt is cool and if you wear it around you have a topic for conversation.
  • Make sure your phone/camera are fully charged, we all know you want pictures to post on facebook but you can’t do that with no battery and you might be surprised how bad service is at some concerts.
  • If you want check out the Set list, you should be able to find it online or you can just be surprised when you get there.
  • ENJOY! Then come back and tell me all about it I would love to hear your stories.

Happy Hump Day! 😀 (HHD)
